Okay, I have a good trick now for a low noise omni, EM23 + a circuit,
fitting the R-09. But it's
in a little plastic box incl. a 9-volt battery. It's almost a mic / line
amp. You connect it either to the line or the mic input.

You can forget running the R-09 low noise on Plug In Power.
(If someone claims it is possible, please prove it with a recording! It
would give me a few very creative nights in the lab, pulling my hair!)
