What does anyone think of the idea of using a couple of these for a
binuaral recording:
(omni condensers)

Sanken COS-11SBP beige Lavalier Microphone

They are around $399US each and come with their own powering solution.
I also would seperately as mono lapel mics (thus explaining this choice).

I am racking my brain trying to come up with a lavalier mic solution
(time two) which will double as a stereo ambient rig (trying to stretch
a budget here and increase my options).

Leonard from sonic studios advises me the dsm mics won't work with this
idea. As well as which they will work out more expensive.
