In USA, go to this web site for further instructions about how to return the damaged recorder: http://tinyurl.com/ncbem Regarding the 3.5mm jack, it's definitely a weak link. One way to delay the arrival of problems is to plug a short lead into the recorder. Leave the lead plugged in at all times. (Some people tape the lead to the back of the minidisc machine to further reduce strain on the connector.) Plug and unplug the mic to the lead, not the recorder itself. --oryoki ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
