Close-to-Home offers a year-long program of 12 Saturday field trips
to some of the East Bay's most interesting and beautiful places which
will begin this year on May 8. The field trips are by subscription
only but the monthly Monday night talks are open to public -- no
prior reservation required -- and featured speakers are well-known
biologists, ecologists, and other field experts who care passionately
about the Bay Area and are eager to share their knowledge. They're
an excellent resource for recordists looking for interesting habitats
to capture."
