I guess it is all relative. As Oryoki calculated 6 hours of 16/48 ( the equivelant of 6 dat tapes ) for one 4gb card I might aswell use my DAT machine. I would really be buying a new generation device to use the higher= sampling rates. This means 2 hours on 4 gb is not very much. Especially if = I want to go away for a week, its nothing. As I say all relative. Two cards and a laptop would be great but it again increases spending on a laptop and= means extra weight to carry in the field. dave |
