Sound Devices 702

Apparently tomorrow Sound Devices will have on their website their new
702, which is nearly identical to a 722, but with only a compact flash
slot, and not an internal hard drive. There will also be a 702T, which
is a timecode version.

Not sure how much cheaper this will be. But should be interesting
competition to the Fostex FR2 and the new Tascam recorders.

Not sure what time it will be posted. Also posting firmware 1.67
tomorrow for any 722 users.

Might be worth a look tomorrow.
