Meena: Do you have another program you can use to capture the audio? If so, try one or two of the problematic files to see if the problem persists. If it does, the culprit is probably in hardware. But your problems does have all the hallmarks of computer software gone wrong. If you can capture from another application, your next step would be to uninstall and reinstall Cool Edit and try again. Have you installed any other programs on your computer that correlates with your problems?
