And a sled Martyn posted that Leonard at Sonic Studios made for D size alkaline batteries. Again, a sled with an initial voltage ~15 vdc might be a good idea for greater longevity. One could make-up a similar sled with electronics store plastic battery holders and buy a Hirose connector to fit the 722 if soldering is doable. The Hirose part number is in your 722 manual.
