One thing that's fun to record in winter is trees creaking in the wind. Here's one from last December along the NW Oregon coast.(2.7MB) http://www.rockscallop.org/ear/041212_RedAlder.mp3 Recorded with wl-183's in a Telinga dish: I held the microphones near the base of the tree aiming them upwards towards the top where two branches were rubbing. -John Hartog --- In Yannick Dauby <> wrote: > > Hello nature recordists, > > Here in France there was the first snows... > > I was wondering what are you recording during the winter ? > > Do you have favorite winter animal songs ? ;-) > > Friendly, > > Yannick > > www.kalerne.net > ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
