Hi John,
  I'm not into the same kind of recording as some on this list are, so for
my purposes this looks very good. The simple factor is always the main issu=

for me. Just one or two buttons and the metal plated cover are the kind of
minimalist approach I dearly love in a product. I was thinking of backing u=
p
my current HiMD with another, but this *Ikey* looks like it might really be
simpler, sturdier and have less moving parts than another HiMD. I would lov=

to get away from HiMD's messy menus and the Sonic Stage software. I am usin=
g
preamps so the fact that it doesn't power isn't an issue for me. Thanks for
