I did get a brief look at this on the show floor and got to hold it.
My impressions were that it was lighter than I expected it to be.  I'm
sure the titanium frame helps with that and the $2K *list* price tag.
 I also remember wondering how good the mics were.  I was disappointed
that the unit was only compatible with Sony's "super" memory stick, a
new faster version of Sony's older proprietary format.  I could be
wrong about this so correct me if you know better...

Other highlights were Tascam's previously discussed recording deck.
Looks like it could be a good contender.

Sonosax had a very small CF card recorder that was most definitely not
a production model.  There were no labels on it so it was difficult to
use.  The anticipated price was around *GULP* $5K.=20=20

Nagra's entry into the small format field recorder really seemed like
it was geared for reporters, and more expensive with less features
nature recordists might find useful.

I'll post more thoughts as I remember them.
