If so, I think you can slip the CF disc into a $10 card reader and 
drag/transfer the .wav format recordings to your desktop--no 
software, beyond card driver, required.

Jim's 16GB NAND link might be relevant. We might see easy usb 
transfering with higher capacity discs in Sony's "Pro" HiMD
