Small is right! The "business" ends of the 1/4" TRS plugs alone must
require a good part of the interior space! How in the heck do they
squeeze in the 48 volt phantom supply too? 5.2 ounces,
Here are the mic pre-related ones:
Balanced Mic Input Gain(1/4" TRS): More than 55dB
10 dB gain less than an MP-2/Mix pre
15 dB gain less than the 722
20 dB gain less than a Sony NH-900 HiMD
3.5mm PIP unbalnced Mic Input Gain: More than 35 dB
This seems very low.
It has a digital input.
The only preamp noise-related specs are:
Balanced In : THD + Noise: .003% (-90 dB) @ -1 dBFS/1 kHz )
Unbalanced 3.5mm In: THD + Noise: .003% (-90 dB) @ -1 dBFS/1 kHz)
These aren't the EIN dBu numbers I'm used to looking for.
Len comments,"Noise...is down 100 dB for the 1/4-inch TRS inputs" and
compares quality to MD or maybe recent DAT decks.
Here are Len's additional comments:
