Rode NT1-A's Night Sequence

When Aaron posted ANNAPURNA a good while back,
http://www.quietamerican.org/related_annapurna.html it was struck me
how much more I learned about his subject and his interests than
listening to snippets. More and more, I enjoy the slowness of getting
to know things. For me, editing is necessary for creating pattern
and making learnable form. Much misses my ears. I have a great time
listening to 12 hours of recordings back in the city and figuring
out what I feel the particular personality of that night, in that
spot is, for me. The other two nights there along the river were
completely different. Its hard to collapse editing I do this way
another step.

There are many reasons for sharing larger files because they're
better quality, more efficient to burn to CDs and more easily played
on better systems and when its convenient.

Perhaps we should get some additional server space for the group and
establish some upload down protocols we can all learn? We have
different skill levels but we can establish some basic steps to teach
each other for enjoying more exchange. Maybe someone on the list
knows a lot about the options and how to set it up such a resource?
Maybe a business could sponser the hosting space? (Feel free to
change the subject line if you take up this subject!)

I'll definitely take a listen to the long eared. There's a good
chance that s/he or a friend was up in Fox Hollow as well. I can
compare the dates and times too as two rigs were running. It does
seem there were more great horns two years ago. And, thanks for the
encouragement! Rob D.
