Mockingbirds pretty much routinely sing at night as well as in the day. 
In this case there was no moon, just starlight through broken clouds.

Yes, as I remember it.

I did a search but did not locate a rattlesnake sound. I guess it does 
not draw much interest to record. I should fix that.
