As previously mentioned, Kim Beeman's program 'Signal' has a
module that seems matched to your task and is highly
regarded and widely used in academia and elsewhere.
David Mellinger's freeware program Ishmael lists automated
call recognition among its capabilities

Could you offer more information about the new bat detector you
mentioned? It seems quite interesting.
