I listened to your mystery sound...I'm not totally convinced that it's
natural, but I really can't say what it is. I can't think of anything
'artificial' that it might be either! It doesn't sound like anything I've
heard a cowbird do, but if it did turn out to be a bird of any sort, it's
likely not been previously documented.
Interesting, but sorry I can't be more helpful.
