In central Mass the wood frog chorus started Friday; in southern NH I
haven't heard it yet, but after the 2 plus inches of rain at 37 deg. F.
Saturday I watched an American Woodcock only 40 ft from my picture window
and the wood frogs have gotta start now or really soon.
