I find myself out of hard drive space on my laptop (mic and headphone
jacks) and my older PC (line in, mic, speaker jacks). I do most of my work
on my laptop, except transferring recordings from my MZ-R50 which I do on
the PC using the line in, then move the file to my laptop. So, do I get
another laptop with a line in, a second hard drive for the laptop, a new PC
(not particularly desirable since I don't want to be tied to a desk any
more than I am already)?

Does anyone have experience with, or can comment on this notebook sound card?
I'd also like to get a better mic than the ECM-MS957, if I can do that
while keeping things as simple as possible (i.e. one stereo mic vs. two
mics--is there such a thing?). I've gathered I'll probably need a preamp as
well.
