This sounds like good solution to the problem. As I see it, this would allow me to have more gain with my mediocre Edirol R-4 preamps at the cost of less headroom as Klas pointed out. The MicBooster MB-1 would be probably what I need as the R-4 has XLR connectors and no plugin power. Volker |
