Although I am sighted but I did most of my recording essentially blind because I had a huge Roche parabola through which nothing could be seen. With the big Roche I had to play around for a very short time until I could hear that I was dead on the bird but then that parabola system had a very sharp focus and when you were on the bird you really knew it. I do not find that with the Telinga. I am sure the lack of sight has nothing to do with your ability to record with a parabola. Best of luck to you. You will do a great job.
