Hey Cheryl, You might (or might not!) find this useful, it's something that came up on the list a while back -- so I posted this, caveat auditor: http://www.quietamerican.org/surf.html Btw if you want to use those (or other) of my own surf recordings feel free... Pitch shifting the break down an octave or two or making a composed track with a single recording offset 2 octaves down might help.
