I came across these images a couple days after the tsunami and it was=20
amazing to see the satellite views of the shoreline. One of the shots:

shows the coastline during one of the outwash events where the water=20
had receded 150 meters from the normal coastline. I guess it was during =
one of these outwashes that all the locals started running out to=20
collect fish.
