Rudy would be the one to comment on that, Aaron. I heard only the
freq modulated results on a copy that Rudy sent after the field
recording test. There were basically two field problems that I was
aware of: (1) we got to the site a bit late and most of the bat
activity (red bats, Townsand's big eared, and Califoring myotis) had
occurred, and (2) the ambient noise (a local nearby road and inbound
SFO flights from the north) made a fair amount of racket.
The first problem meant that we really didnt have an opportunity to
get enough vox to really check S/N issues since we were only about 4m
(12 ft) from the roost exit point. I'd like to do this again when we
have an opportunity to really capture some signal.

Haven't tried the Schoeps hi freq system and don't know it. That
might be a question for Bill Rainey.

Aside from the relatively high noise-low and infrequent signal
problem, it "sounded" like what one might expect for that kind of
configuration. No. Only single source one channel. No MS.
