Michael:
There's some software called "Injector" at the download site that they say
allows for the addition of BEXT information. I presume this is all PC
software.
Wil . . . are you listening in?

Check out the Basehead beta here:
http://www.nuendo-post.com/downloads-cat-7.html
You will need to install the older full version and then do an update.
Now I am sure Basehead presently reads the Bwave data chunk, as I am
encoding with Soundminer and retrieving in Basehead. I am unsure if you ca=
n
write metadata yet. But seeming it is in beta, there is the possibility of
influencing the future of the package.
It works very well as a database program with a feature set similar to
Soundminer.

Does anyone on this group know anything about the Broadcast Wave standard i=
n
the PC world? Is there software available that allows folks to open a file,
add standard BWAV metadata in the BEXT chunk, and then save as a BWAV file
(=3D BWF or Broadcast Wave File)? Will Adobe Audition do this?
