The Audio Buddy's phantom power is borderline for my mbho's even
running on their wall wart.  I suspect more current than provided by
the 4- 9volts would help. The CAD 179's won't go on them. I bought a
bunch of 2/3's size AA's nimh batteries to run +22 and -22 to the
rails, but I haven't had a chance to try this.  Rob D.
