I ran across instructions for building a patch cable to connect a mini disk recorder to a microphone using an XLR at http://www.trentu.ca/trentradio/audiosoup/as_cfrc040131/mic2minidisc. htm The suggestion is to include a capacitor in the line to disable the power from the mini disk. Would this be advisable when connecting a Sennheiser ME-66 to a mini disk? I have a patch cable now that does not include the capacitor and it works but I wonder if this could be an improvement. 1GDW ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
