Please consider all playback as not responsible.
Please consider the most liberal interpretation of regulations
prohibiting its use in order to protect our mutual interests in sound
recording.
Under International treaty as well as US federal laws many of us
recordists are already on the edge by our sound recording activity.=20
The law prohibites "the pursuit" of endangered species. The use of
playback in my oppionion could have an injury to our entire activity
if someone takes exception to the use of some recordists playback in
the field. I go to great lengths to build relationships to gain
permissions. Past activity by photographers and others using
playback have gotten in my way. Just say no to playback.

Public Law 95-616 also ratified a treaty with the Soviet Union
specifying that both nations will take measures to protect identified
ecosystems of special importance to migratory birds against
pollution, detrimental alterations, and other environmental
degradations.
