Maybe provide more info about the m-s design you;re after? A
"shotgun" m-s?  The vp-88 or 825 are nothing like this. The later is
not a very good deal noise-wise. The former is a good mic, but
perhaps out of date re noise performance/$. The CAD M-179 may be the
cheapest bestest/$ fig 8-- you could try one with your mc-102 in m-s.
For cheaper, lower noise single points, the rode nt-4 should be on
the list. not m-s. Rob D.
