You live and learn Rich, Sparrows on holiday look so different at home,
sigh!!! Our sparrows also partake of the Mac French fry, rather partial to
it!!

This is a risk you run birding in new areas. This happens to all that
bird in areas that are new.
Around here everyone knows that the House Sparrows are found begging
for french frys at McDonalds.  Who would think that there are some
that like bushes in the riverbeds.

A couple weeks ago I posted a lone Sandhill over a quiet marsh.
Linked is the same location, same time of day, couple weeks later. A
bit different soundscape.
Now it is time to pull out the dish and Guille suit for dem ducks and
try and separate them out. I finally nailed my Sharptailed Grouse
yesterday too. Recorded at 2' on a lek. Over 65db S/N.
