I have fond memories of the skylarks in Britain too Martin. You might be in= terested to know that skylarks have been successfully transplanted to the g= rasslands around the Victoria airport near to where I live and the grasslan= ds of Maui. In the winter time the Victoria flock numbers about two hundred= . There appear to be thousands in Maui but I have never heard an actual cou= nt. I've also noted Walt's absence!
