The Sandhills are comming back here as well.
That marks the end of sharptail recording for me.
It is still early enough that it is possible to record individual
sandhills.  As Martyn will be bringing you back the masses of these
prehistoric giants, I will give you an individual flyby.

At 35 mph flight speed you can see these guys are heard for miles.
He never made it closer than 150 yards from me.  Recorded yesterday
with a me-62 omni which is pushing this mic right to the limit of
what it can do. Original file is stereo 24/41.

If you use this it would be nice to give me credit somewhere.
