Hi-MD is certainly an exciting development for minidisc that to be quite
honest is long overdue. We are of course investigating the possibilities of
this new format.

While we have your attention, what's the chances of a Hi-MD mod to the
Portadisc? Or failing that a new Hi-MD model Portadisc?

And, I'd sure like M/S decode to headphones built into the Portadisc.
Right now if I want to record undecoded and listen to the decoded M/S in
the headphones I have to add in the Sound Devices MP2, making a much
more awkward package. Most of the time I just try and make do with the
mid only being sent to the headphones. Which can be set. Or wing it
monitoring the undecoded M/S.
