It's not a parallel but I use a K6 with a Sony MRZ-30 which has phantom power I think. Was up your way last weekend and we recorded the lowest number of species, 73, in the ten years we have been going. Usually it's more like 100. Notice honey is being imported and beekeepers are losing up to 25% of their hives. Perhaps it's not surprising that numbers are down.
