Hi Rich; I have got my best recordings of Dippers in the winter when there is snow o= n the creekbanks. going from memory I think February is the best month , bu= t I have heard them in most months of the year. Their song is a joy to hea= r against the low frequency sound of the running water. In the winter it ma= y be the only bird singing , which makes is all so special.
