Not today he isn't. He's visiting my back yard! OK a few miles down the
road, Tony Blair's constituency actually. And ironically the name of the
place is Sedgefield.

On topic: the european species White-throated Dipper (Cinclus cinclus) is
actually a cracking singer, the next few months being the most vocal period=
.
It's amazing to take a walk along the river some frosty morning around
mid-winter and hear such vigour in defiance of the cold.

Does the American species have similar habits?
