While out recording in the early hours, I was right next to a golf
course and of course the irrigation systems would be on ALL night.
Looking at the acreage of the course, it had gulped up all that was
there before, all the shrubs, cacti and succulents. Air conditioners
bellowed out into the morning air from all the "casita's" too.
I was lucky in so much that my Telinga did it's job, I was able to
direct the sounds away from most of the noises. I can't help thinking of
what Bernie said in his recent post about Tucson, surely the surrounding
areas will follow suit.
The skies were full of mourning and white-winged dove sounds, quite
surreal.
I love Arizona; I would love to have seen it though through Doug's eyes
a few years ago before it got to this.
