I am using Windows XP and opened the files with a number of MP3
players including Microsoft Media 9.0, Sound Forge 6.0, and Winamp3
(3.0) without difficulty.

The properties of the file indicate that it is sampled at 44.1 kHz,
16 bit, stereo, 1.16 mb.

What operating system, and MP3 player would you be using to open
this file?

I have had a similar difficulty in the past with some files until I
upgraded both Microsoft Media and Winamp3.
