Assuming you have the entire hard disk for audio that works out at something over 30 hours. At the end of which you have to unload it somewhere. You are not dealing with a removable drive. Note that the drive inside it is, I believe, one of the standard notebook drives. I don't know what shock protection it has, but be extremely careful about bumping it while recording. Hard disks don't take kindly to that, including those designed for notebooks.
