Hello Pratap,
Some info about those options.
1 ACM: The Microsoft Audio Compression Manager (ACM) is a interface
for audio compression in Windows. This interface allows recording
applications to use compression algorithms provided by other
companies.
2 ADPCM: Adaptive Differential Pulse Code Modulation. If you *must*
know, there is some info about it on this page:
http://www-mobile.ecs.soton.ac.uk/speech_codecs/waveform.html
3 PCM: Pulse Code Modulation. This is used for standard 44.1 KHz
stereo uncompressed WAV files.
Conclusion:
If you want to save your audio files on the computer you should use
the PCM (*.wav) option. PCM is the only format that is compatible
with audio CD's (in case you want to be able to make audio CD's you
must save the file as 16 bit, 44.1 kHz)
Regards, Evert
