A feature that I believe would be valuable to those looking at
sonograms of birds are alternative methods of generating a
time-frequency display than what the Fourier Transform provides.
Specifically, better time-frequency representation for calls that
change frequency very rapidly or the case when two different sources
(two-voice syrinx?) are relatively close in both frequency and time.
