I got a note today that someone could not get to my pages. Investigating
lead to finding out they have implemented a new rule in the internet.
The first part of the address, the part that gets to the right server,
cannot contain a underscore. Appears it violates the protocol of some
software that's no longer used! They suggest going to a hyphen, just
like when I started making webpages and the recommendation was
underscore instead of hyphen. All because they were too dumb to allow
spaces.
Anyway frog_recordist violates the new rule and eventually all
nameservers will throw back a automatic error on looking at it.
To get that name, I had to set up a email address with my ISP. They
would then assign webspace to the name. It's a awkward system they
caught me with 3 months ago when they broke our space up into 10 meg
chunks. So, I went through all that and uploaded all 7.5 megs of stuff
again under a new name frogrecordist let's see them make that illegal.
If you have bookmarked any of my pages or individual stuff with
frog_recordist in the link, remove the underscore to make the new name
and it should work. My future links will go there. Here's the new links

If anything fails, let me know. I left up the old part for now, but will
eventually remove it. My main frogsite was not hit, but I updated the

Now I think it's time to write a nice note to the standards folks, do it
