Amplified playback speakers

  Hello group, has anyone used the SME-AFS amplified playback speaker 
system that is sold by Saul Mineroff? As some of you might know, I 
have a MZ-R30 minidisc on delivery.Will i be able to play back my 
recording's in the field with the minidisc? I also have a mini CD 
portable walkman player.Will the SME-AFS playback speaker be suitable 
for the above mentioned systems? Is there anything else i can use to 
boost the sound output?
