I like the article, but limiting to dawn cuts down quite a bit on what
you find to record. Frogs, for instance are generally silent this time
of day. So are many birds. And even those that call may be giving
different songs at other times of the day.

Try recording at dusk, it's different. Or in the dark of night. Any time
of day has it's charms.

Around here rush hour starts well before dawn, so don't expect it to be
particularly silent then.
