Hi Jim; Congratulations on your MZ-R50. Sounds like a great buy. ]I have been asked to give some advice to beginners and would like to recommend the small minidisc recorders. I use a Marantz PMD 650 , and before that a DAT recorder , so have no experience of the smaller minidiscs . Are the MZR 30 and MZR 50 still available? How do the MZR 700 and MZR900 compare with the above , including cost? Can you give me the full name of any of the Sharp minidisc recorders with any comparisons , including cost? Which ones can transfer digitally to a computer?
