I have sent a message to the Lake Cargelligo Birds FB group asking who has done this and why? It marks a major change in attitude by the town - they used to recognise the importance of bird tourism to their economy.

I have since found out that we are not allowed on the fire trails on round hill, Whohey Tanks and Old Wheat Paddock for example, just the main roads.

Looks like LC is off my places to go from now on.
