That's interesting info Jack. I will look forward to reading about Koels in your column in the next Gang-gang.
A suggestion for eBirders! If you do see juvenile Koels or breeding activity in any species, I encourage you to add a breeding code to your eBird record. It is quick and easy to do in both the app or on the eBird website.
Including a breeding code adds extra value to the data you are contributing - with benefit to COG and to researchers and other data users far and wide.
