Reason for Burn
|
Ecological and cultural outcomes. The spring burns will create open grass area where turtles can access breeding grounds,
and Lathams snipe can refuge. Increase sedge growth, other native grasses and reeds, decrease clumps of phalaris. Indigenous community and Murrumbung rangers can practice cultural burning techniques and share their knowledge.
