Hi,
no where near as good a shots or as interesting a plumage, but perhaps a similar behaviour.
I took these two shots last week, through the flyscreen.
Have only had Satin Bowerbirds regularly in the garden this year, and usually only see one or two at a time, but sometimes up to 8 or 9 birds.
One of the green birds (perhaps this one??) was displaying with blue and yellow objects recently, doing the dance and whirring noises, but no bower.
But I digress. I thought it might be sunning itself, but maybe there is another reason??
