Registration is not apparently required for drones weighing less than 250g, so many of the 'toy' or cheap ones kids may be playing with/ being a nuisance with may well fall into that category. ACT Parks may not want them flown from places under their control
without permission etc. No one should be chasing wildlife with them.

The bloke in Commonwealth Park was clearly operating in a no fly zone (as a result of proximity to the airport), unless he had a proper permit and commercial aircraft licence. So CASA and Canberra Airport are the best contacts.
The one at Point Hut doesn’t sound like a violation of any drone regulations, but rather is an issue for animal welfare laws.
And the one in Macarthur doesn’t sound like it was outside the regulations unless it was causing a hazard to people.
Drones have to be registered so if you see unsafe flying, photograph it and report it to CASA.

I tried to get someone in authority to stop a bloke in Commonwealth Park sending up a drone over the Flying Fox colony on one of the hottest days 2 years ago at dusk .
Police are useless it wasn’t their job of course & were bloody rude as well ,CASA a government department had all left to go home on a friday afternoon.
What are the regulations & who administers them ?
Luckily there was a more rational volunteer monitoring the camp than me who eventually convinced the bloke to cease.

The ACT government apparently isn't responsible for drones in the ACT - CASA is, and there don't seem to be any rules about their use in places like suburban parks..
